My Story, My Perspective:
As an ICU nurse, I’ve seen how fragile life becomes when prevention is ignored.
As an ER nurse, I’ve treated the acute crises that often trace back to quiet neglect — the unmanaged risk, the lifestyle deferred, the “I’ll deal with it later.”
As an athlete, I’ve learned that performance isn’t just about competition, it’s about resilience, recovery, and longevity.
As an Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach, I’ve witnessed how awareness and lifestyle can rewrite health before medicine ever intervenes.
As a daughter of a lymphoma survivor, I’ve witnessed how lifestyle, mindset, and holistic care can complement modern medicine in powerful ways.

My Philosophy
From the very beginning, everything we need to live and to heal was already given to us. Scripture reminds us that “He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate — bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.” We were designed with all we need for life — to nourish, to restore, to adapt. “The Lord created medicines from the earth, and the sensible will not despise them.”
Our role is not to outsmart that design, but to understand it, honor it, and live in rhythm with it.
At The Original Vitals, my philosophy is to bring medicine back to its foundation, a model that recognizes health as interconnected, bio-individual, and multidimensional. That means every system in the body affects another; every person’s biology and story are unique; and true
health depends on the interaction of physical, mental, spiritual, social, environmental, and economic factors.
It’s an approach that blends the art and science of health, combining ancient wisdom with modern science. A framework rooted in evidence-based practice and guided by a whole-person approach to health through every stage of life.
